What happens when you search
- The page downloads a public portal index and matches your entries in your browser. Lookup entries are not sent to an address-search service or added to the page URL.
- This tool does not save your entries to a server, browser storage, or an account.
- Your optional street address appears only in the records-request draft on this page.
- The copy button accesses your clipboard only when you select it. Nothing is emailed or submitted automatically.
Hosting and external sites
Cloudflare Pages serves this website. Hosting infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL. This is separate from the lookup entries processed on this page.
Official portals, FEMA, and other sites you open have their own privacy policies. If you enter an address on an external site, that site handles it under its own practices. If you open an email link, your mail app controls the draft and any message you choose to send.
What the results mean
- Coverage is limited. Most U.S. jurisdictions are not indexed. A missing result does not mean no portal or certificate exists.
- Records may be incomplete. City, county, and statewide systems can contain different documents.
- Links can change. The portal index records source checks dated November 6, 2026 (America/Detroit); verify the current official source.
- Qualified advice matters. This site does not provide insurance, surveying, engineering, lending, or legal advice. Confirm requirements with your local floodplain administrator, insurer, and other qualified professionals.
Commercial disclosures
Lookups are free. No paid ads, affiliate tags, surveyor lead collection, or paid data services are enabled. Any future commercial features must be disclosed before they are introduced.
Who publishes this tool?
