Official source
Search the County public flood platform by property address and inspect the profile or Elevation Certificates list. This County request/record path is for unincorporated Chatham County; incorporated Savannah and other municipalities maintain separate records. Ask floodletters@chathamcounty.org if a record is not displayed. An unlisted address does not establish that no certificate exists; ask the local floodplain office.

When the portal does not cover your parcel
- email: FloodplainManagement@dekalbcountyga.gov — Official Aug 28 2026 release offers current and old construction/elevation certificates on file. Request path, not the flood-zone/parcel viewer as an EC portal. (verified 2026-11-06)

- phone: 404-297-4518 — Second Floodplain Management Office number listed in official release. (verified 2026-11-06)
- phone: (912) 754-2128 — Official page: County provides copies of completed FEMA ECs for most buildings built in floodplains of the unincorporated area upon request, if available. No public list. (verified 2026-11-06)
Verification
Search completeness is not independently established. Public Forerunner records may be incomplete; check the portal yourself, never interpret no match as no EC on file. Official County Engineering page labels its linked public portal Find Elevation Certificate. County distinguishes unincorporated records by PINs beginning with 1. Verification note: Automated fetch from our box returned blocked/empty status for this URL; the official link still ships for human visitors. Do not invent portal contents.
